Chicken Packets - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked, deboned and diced chicken
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
1 Tbsp. chives, chopped
2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
garlic and parsley to taste
2 pkg. refrigerator crescent rolls
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
crushed croutons or cracker crumbs
Preparation

Combine first 6 ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Unroll the crescent rolls and press each pair into a rectangle.
Place 2 heaping tablespoonfuls of chicken mixture into the center of each rectangle. Fold dough over and seal edges tightly.
Roll each packet in melted butter and then in croutons or cracker crumbs. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes 8 packets.
