Zucchini Stuffed With Ham And Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium zucchini (8 oz. each)
    1 c. small pasta shells
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 large onion, diced
    1/2 tsp. fennel
    1 c. celery, diced
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    3 medium ripe tomatoes, diced
    1 1/2 c. cooked ham (cubes)
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cut zucchini lengthwise in half; using spoon, scoop out centers, leaving shells about 1/4-inch thick.
    Place shells in boiling water.
    Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, for 7 minutes or until almost tender.
    Place upside down on paper towels to drain thoroughly.
    In large saucepan over high heat, bring 2 quarts water to boil.
    Add pasta; cook 9 minutes, stirring frequently, until almost tender.
