Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    3 c. V-8 juice
    1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
    few dashes hot pepper sauce
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
Preparation
    In a plastic bag, combine flour and 1 teaspoon of salt.
    Add meat cubes a few at a time, shaking to coat.
    In a large saucepan, add onion and thyme.
    Stir in vegetable juice, bouillon, pepper sauce, potatoes, carrots and 1 cup of water.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
    Skim off fat.
    Serves 6.
