Easy Double Chocolate Chip Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
    1/2 c. butter or margarine (1 stick)
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
    In large saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup chocolate morsels and butter, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, and vanilla.
    Stir with wooden spoon until blended. Add 1/2 cup morsels and nuts.
    Spread batter in prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup chocolate morsels.
    Bakes 25 to 30 minutes just until set.
    Cool completely.
    Cut into 2-inch squares. Makes 2 dozen.
