Chicken And Dumplings(By Edna Bell) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken (2 or 3 lb.)
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1 c. water
    1 qt. broth
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1 qt. milk
Preparation
    Simmer\tchicken
    in 2 quarts water until tender.
    Cool; set broth aside.
    Remove chicken bones.
    Cut chicken into bite sizes pieces.
