Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
2 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1/4 tsp. paprika
3 c. milk
1 c. chopped onion
1 pkg. frozen lima beans
1 c. diced potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Saute onion in butter in a large heavy saucepan until tender. Add cabbage, lima beans, carrots, potatoes, broth and salt.
Cover and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until carrots and potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
