Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
3 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 tsp. soda
5 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons warm water and let stand. Combine flour and other dry ingredients.
Cut shortening into flour mixture.
Add 1 cup buttermilk and the yeast mixture to flour mixture.
Mix, then add second cup of buttermilk.
Mix well.
