Cheese Cocktail Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    large red peanuts (optional)
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Blend cheese and butter until light; add remaining ingredients except peanuts.
    Knead to form smooth dough.
    Pinch off pieces of dough; roll into 3/4-inch balls.
    Place 1 peanut in center of each ball.
    Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    May be made ahead and refrigerated.
    Yield:
    36 biscuits.
