Ambrosia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. fruit cocktail, drained
    20 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    1/4 c. coconut (optional)
    1/4 c. miniature marshmallows (optional)
Preparation
    Drain and put fruit in refrigerator 4 hours or overnight. Blend cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
    Add fruit and Cool Whip.
    Add a little more Cool Whip if creamier consistency is needed.
    Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
