Sausage And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 c. rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. green peppers (optional)
    1 can chicken broth (2 c.)
Preparation
    Brown sausage in
    heavy skillet.
    Transfer sausage to 2 quart greased casserole
    dish.
    In
    sausage
    drippings,
    saute celery, onion, green
    peppers
    and\tmushrooms
    until
    lightly browned. Transfer to
    casserole
    dish.
    Add\twater chestnuts, rice, broth and 1 can
    of
    chicken
    (or equivalent of 2 cups); mix well. Cover and bake at
    350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until rice is fluffy and tender.
