Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. chopped green peppers
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    4 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. crushed dry basil
    1 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers (mild)
    1/2 tsp. cumin
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onions, green pepper and garlic until meat browns.
    Drain off fat.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
    Serves 4 to 6.
