Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal (self-rising)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 in greased cake pan.
