Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    4 c. croutons or day old bread
    4 c. cornbread, crumbled *
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. chicken broth, heated
    1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Melt butter; add celery and onion.
    Cook over medium-low heat until tender.
    Stir in croutons, cornbread and pecans and seasonings.
    Add eggs and toss lightly.
    Pour hot broth and cream of chicken soup over entire mixture; toss.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 14 cups.
