Pear Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. yogurt, butter, milk or sour cream
    1 c. coarsely chopped cured pears
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Gradually beat in sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Combine dry ingredients.
    Add to egg mixture alternately with sour cream, yogurt or buttermilk. Stir in pears and vanilla. Pour into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan or 2 small loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
