American Chop Suey - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. box elbow macaroni
1 large onion, sliced thin
1 (28 oz.) can Pastene kitchen ready tomatoes
1/4 to 1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
salt and pepper
Preparation

In a large frying pan melt margarine, add hamburg, onions and garlic.
Brown and continue cooking on low heat.
Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
Then, add cooked, drained elbows to hamburg mixture.
Mix well.
Add tomatoes, cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well and cook on low heat 30 to 60 minutes, stirring frequently.
