Pepper Pot Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean beef
    1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 c. beef stock
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 large diced potato
    1 chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Cut beef into one inch (2 1/2 cm) cubes.
    Cover meat with flour and brown on all sides in hot oil.
    In large saucepan, add salt and stock and cook covered for about 2 hours, or until meat is tender.
    Add vegetables, pepper and parsley and cook until vegetables are tender.
