Brandied Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. juice
    1 c. dried apricots
    1 c. dried apples
    1 c. pitted prunes
    1/2 c. raisins
    3/4 c. maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    In medium mixing bowl, put water, sugars and spices and mix. Microwave 4 to 6 minutes or until mixture boils and sugars dissolve.
    Stir once.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Microwave 9 to 14 minutes or until fruit is tender. Stir 1 or 2 times.
    Cover and refrigerate 3 days before serving.
    Keep no longer than 3 weeks.
