Mary'S Krustyes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. liquor
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Break eggs into bowl; add vanilla, liquor, baking powder and salt.
    Add flour, a little at a time, to mixture.
    Mix by hand until dough gets like a pie dough.
    Let stand in cool place for 15 minutes.
    Roll dough out very thin.
    Cut into strips and cut hole in center; pull one end through to make a tie.
    Fry in deep hot lard.
    Drain lard off as it becomes too brown.
    Drain cookies on paper towel.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
