Potluck Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes, partially thawed
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, soup, melted butter, salt, pepper, onion, sour cream and cheese.
    Put mixture in buttered 9 x 13-inch baking pan or dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Top with more cheese. (Freezes well.)
