Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter (only)
    1 3/4 c. white corn syrup
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Cook sugar, butter and white corn syrup for 30 minutes.
    Add whipping cream; cook to soft ball stage.
    Pour in 13 x 9-inch pan. Let set overnight.
    Cut in small pieces.
    Wrap in waxed paper and twist ends.
