Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 medium potatoes
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
    pepper to taste
    garlic salt
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    about 1/2 or 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in water.
    Season with salt, pepper, garlic salt and celery salt until almost done.
    Drain well.
    Put 1/2 of the mixture in a casserole, then add 1/2 can mushroom soup.
    Lay 4 or 5 slices of Velveeta cheese over first layer.
    Add rest of potatoes and onion.
    Spread remaining 1/2 can mushroom soup with 4 or 5 more slices of cheese on top.
    Dot top with butter and bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
