Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    ham bone and ham
    1 onion
    celery
    salt and pepper
    1 lb. navy beans
Preparation
    Wash beans well. Put in pot with water, ham bone and pieces of ham.
    Fill water up to almost cover meat and bone.
    Stir and check occasionally.
    Have lid half off.
    Bring to a boil and then lower to low, cooking for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Serve with Pillsbury crescent rolls.
