Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add the next 4 ingredients.
    Place the pecans in the bottom of an unbaked crust.
    Pour the filling over the pecans.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes.
