Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 eggs
4 Tbsp. (heaping) butter
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Beat egg yolks; add baking powder, flour, butter, salt, sugar and milk.
Mix thoroughly.
Add egg whites.
Make sure waffle iron is very hot.
Pour 1/2 cup waffle mixture at a time onto iron. (Do not grease iron.)
Makes 8 or 9 waffles.
