Choco-Mint Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 tsp. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. mint flavoring
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels (use mint morsels if available)
    green food coloring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites and vinegar for 10 minutes and gradually add sugar.
    Mixture should get stiff and form soft peaks.
    Add mint flavoring and a few drops of green food coloring to get a light green color.
    Stir in the chocolate morsels.
    Drop from a teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet (easier if the cookie sheets are covered with aluminum foil).
    Put in oven and turn off heat.
    Leave for 4 hours.
    Makes 85 to 100 cookies.
