Pralines - Pecan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. white Karo
    2 c. pecans
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, soda, milk and Karo in a 2-quart boiler and let reach soft ball.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Beat until shiny or thick enough to drop from teaspoons.
    Add pecans and drop on waxed paper.
