Cheese And Onion Caps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    8 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
    1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
    18 large fresh mushroom caps or 36 medium caps
Preparation
    Mix the first 4 ingredients together until thoroughly blended. Season with 1 tablespoon cheese mixture.
    Press into caps.
    Place on greased broiler pan, about 4 inches from heat, for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese melts.
    Do not overbroil.
