1 15 oz. pkg. plain or peanut M&Ms
1 c. margarine
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Chop 1 1/2 cup of candies.
Reserve remaining for decoration. Beat together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Add combined flour, soda, and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in chopped candies and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 9 to 11 minutes.
Remove from oven immediately.
Press 3 reserved candies on top of each cookie and allow to cool.
