Caramel Pie(Makes 2 Pies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 baked pie crusts
    6 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. oleo
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    5 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
Preparation
    In a large pan or heavy skillet, put 2 cups of sugar on low heat.
    Stir often while sugar is melting into a liquid.
    Remove from heat as soon as the sugar is all liquid.
    Immediately pour liquid in a small stream into milk, stirring constantly until all liquid sugar is dissolved.
    Milk will be a light caramel color now.
