Potato Salad Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 oz.) pkg. scalloped potatoes
    3 to 4 c. boiling salted water
    1/2 c. Miracle Whip
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
    1 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Combine potatoes from package with boiling water in saucepan. Cover; simmer for 15 minutes, until tender.
    Drain and chill potatoes.
    Stir together the Miracle Whip, vinegar and seasoning packet from potatoes.
    Combine potatoes, cabbage and celery.
    Add Miracle Whip mixture; toss lightly.
    Keep cold until serving. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and green pepper.
    I add chopped pimento and, if not sweet enough, add sugar to taste.
