Cajon Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 (8 oz.) cans oysters
    5 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
    60 oz. whole milk
    hot sauce
    salt
    pepper
    1/4 lb. butter
Preparation
    Pour evaporated and whole milk into pan.
    Drain fluid from the oysters into the pan.
    (Cover and place oysters into refrigerator.)
    Simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
    After 2 hours, add butter, hot sauce (to taste), salt and pepper (to taste).
    Five minutes before serving, add oysters to milk.
    Serve hot.
