Western Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco sauce mix
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1 (12 oz.) carton small curd cottage cheese
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, taco sauce mix (dry), salt and pepper.
    Simmer 2 minutes.
