Marge'S Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In
    a
    saucepan,
    over\tmedium heat, melt oleo.
    Mix in brown sugar.
    Mix in slowly
    the corn syrup and milk.
    Cook to 240\u00b0, stirring
    all the time.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.\tPour on buttered cookie sheet.
    Cool and cut in logs and wrap in wax paper.
