Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. Karo light or dark
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    5 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine the first 3 ingredients in saucepan; simmer until syrupy.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Place thick sliced bread on top of syrup mixture.
    Beat eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Pour over bread.
    Cover pan; let stand in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Uncover and bake for 45 minutes.
    Serve hot.
