Ladyfingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add water and vanilla.
    Mix well. Blend in flour and nuts.
    Chill 4 hours.
    Shape into fingers.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
    Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes 3 dozen.
