Cheddar Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Mix dry ingredients, sugar and cheese. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly.
    Add milk all at once and stir with a fork until moistened.
    Knead on floured surface 10 times.
    Pat dough flat to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into biscuits, place on ungreased pan, edges touching, and bake 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
