Shrimp Deluxe - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
1 c. chicken broth
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 medium can mushrooms, undrained
1 lb. shrimp, peeled (not cooked)
Preparation

Make sauce of first 5 ingredients.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and ready to boil.
Carefully add next ingredients, one at a time, stirring and blending well.
Flavor improves if made a day ahead.
Serve over rice.
Cook shrimp until they turn pink, it doesn't take long.
