Oatmeal Praline Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. raw quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs
Preparation

In a small pan, bring water to a boil. Take off heat and add oatmeal.
Let stand and cool.
Mix together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and soda.
Set aside.
Cream together margarine and white and brown sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour and oatmeal.
Mix well.
Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
