Smothered Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    1 small can mushrooms
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation
    Heat oil and add all other ingredients.
    Fry for 6 minutes over medium heat.
    Reduce heat and simmer 15 more minutes.
    May serve with white rice.
    Serves 6.
