Ingredients

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or 6 oz. semi-sweet or milk chocolate, chopped into pieces
1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix both sugars, margarine and egg in large bowl with a wooden spoon.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff).
Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
