Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 heads cabbage
    canning salt
    sugar
Preparation
    Chop
    cabbage
    in
    blender.
    Pour in colander to drain. Pack in
    quart
    jars
    and
    add
    1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon sugar to each full jar.
    Fill with warm water and wipe off all excess cabbage.
    Put
    tops
    on (not too tight) and place in a cool place. Check often and add warm water to fill jars again for about a month after filling.
