Chicken Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large chicken breasts (or a whole chicken)
    1 large bell pepper (red or green or mix)
    1 large onion chopped
    1/2 lb carrots chopped
    6 to 8 stalks celery chopped
    6 to 8 large irish potatoes chopped
    1 tall can evaporated milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    Flour or corn starch for thickening
    1/2 stick butter
    4 cups water
Preparation
    Cut chicken
    into desired chunks-add water with salt and pepper to taste and cook till chicken is fork tender.
    Chop vegetables-add to chicken.
    Cook till veggies are tender.
    Add milk and butter.
    Mix flour or corn starch with a little water-pour into chicken mix and stir-add more thickening if a heavy stew is wanted.
