Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    3 ripe, mashed bananas
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Blend in other ingredients.
    Bake in 1 pound coffee cans for nice size loaves or bake in loaf pans at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
