Apple Harvest Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. grated, peeled apple
1 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Thoroughly mix all dry ingredients.
Add oil, vanilla and eggs and stir until well mixed.
Add the grated apple and walnuts (if you like walnuts!).
Bake in a greased and floured loaf pan in a 325\u00b0 oven for approximately an hour.
Test cake for \"doneness\" by putting a butter knife into the middle.
It will come out clean if the cake is done.
