Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. raisins
1 c. peach preserves
1 c. plum preserves
1 c. dates
1 c. figs
1 c. nuts
1/2 pkg. citron
1/2 pkg. orange peel
anything else you want
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar together.
Add beaten eggs and buttermilk.
Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg and add to mixture.
Add raisins, peach and plum preserves, dates, figs, nuts, citron and orange peel.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 or 3 hours or use your own judgment.
