Feather Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
1 egg, well beaten
3 Tbsp. melted butter
about 2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add egg, melted butter and enough milk to make moist, stiff batter.
Drop by teaspoons into boiling liquid on top of meat (sauerkraut with hot dogs on top). Cover, very closely, and cook for 15 minutes.
Don't peek!
Serve immediately.
