Crock-Pot Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. red beans, soaked
    1 onion, sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. smoked sausage (mild, hot or Cajun)
    3 Tbsp. honey, brown sugar or dark Karo
Preparation
    Slice sausage in thin diagonal pieces.
    Place all ingredients in crock-pot.
    Cover with water (about 1/2 inch above beans). Cook on high 1 hour.
    Turn heat to low and simmer for 4 to 6 hours or until beans are tender.
    Serve over hot, fluffy rice.
