Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 onion, chopped fine
3/4 c. sugar

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients, then add the rest.
Drop by teaspoons into hot oil.
