Chicken Ala Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large chicken, boiled and diced
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
    1 loaf broken up bread
    1 large onion, diced
    salt, sage or celery and pepper to taste
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Fry mushrooms in oleo for 5 minutes, then add to the chicken. Take one half of the chicken broth and make a gravy using milk to moisten the flour.
    Pour the gravy over the chicken, being sure it makes the chicken moist.
    Take the other half of the broth and add bread.
    Fry onion in oleo and add to bread (I use celery with the onion).
    Add salt, sage or celery and pepper.
    Beat eggs real good and add to bread mixture.
    Put chicken in a large long pan that will cut 15 pieces and pour dressing over the chicken.
    Bake until brown in slow oven.
