Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 2/3 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend the shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Combine the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Add to the first mixture.
    Mix and shape into small balls.
    Roll in a mixture of 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
    Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 5 dozen.
